1 month + have pass, and counting

Y did I choose NUS instead of living at my own home doing things as I like, slacking my hours of life away...
Now i don't even have time to pose for my dear camera.

It's been more than a week since my last post. A lot had happen. Last Friday we had A Block Initiation. As the name implies, it's when you truly become an A-blocker.

It was a surprise, fun fill, exciting event organize for the freshies.

All the freshies standing on 1 small platform, tryin to fit everybody in and put a smile on our faces.
Later we were all told to blindfold ourselves, and follow the lead of our angels. Before this, we played angel and mortal games. For those who dun know what is it, exp, Seniors become angels and freshies are mortals. Angels are not suppose to reveal their name and they are suppose to write letters to their mortals and send to them secretly. Then mortals have to reply by placing the letters in a basket provided. The whole point of the game? Get to know your angel better and guess who is her/him.

The freshies like blind mice, had to go through obstacle task around west coast park. Our angels guided us through the course. Along the way, of course, got kena sabo. like sing song, dance, and do stupid stuff. but it's for the fun of it.
Later, we had our supper which is cooked by our seniors.
After our delicious and thoughtful meal, we all had camwhoring session. We were on high that night, screaming and rushing to the camera man to take photo for us. Exhilarating. I love my block mates.

Life everyday now is starting to be a routine. Countless tutorials and endlessly putting knowledge into my brain keeps adding day by day. And yet you just have to live happily and smile through it all. Nevertheless, the journey is not an easy road to venture but life goes on.

I audition for KRX and I didn't do my best for it. I can't get into any culture group. KRx is a hall production group on acting. I can't sing but I wan to prove i can act. All the workload from studies is just round 1. There are many more activities to come and everyday is a new day for me. A senior told me, she said, "Kent Ridge is my full time job, studying in NUS is part time".

All the competition here, demoralise at times, but yet challenging to strive better. Hopefully 1 day, I will be on top with everybody else.

A quote from me, "I'm not better than anyone but neither is anyone better than me"

Come on Ken Sing, you can do it.
