Flag Day 08

Today is my the 1st time I'm participating Flag day (HAri Bendera) lol. It's not literally collecting flags from people but its a community service event. Volunteers from NUS will go round Singapore collecting donations for 20 beneficiaries. The event was from 7am - 7pm. Man I tell you, you can see at least a NUS soul in every busy corner of Singapore. haha. I think the Singaporeans them self are afraid of us. We were all wearing the same bright orange uniform on that day.

As a Malaysian, we truly are kiam people. How kiasu Singaporeans are, most of them actually takes out money to donate to charity. I was amazed with this kinda attitude and it made me more enthu to go round asking people to donate money. End result, I have about 1 tin can full. Woohoo. not bad for a 1st timer flagger.

It's call flagging. Not bad right the term. Neway, tml have to prepare mentally for RAG. Will post that up with PICTURES. I hope. haha. nitez ppl.
